Rothenburg Location and Quick Facts

Rothenburg sits in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia, roughly halfway between Würzburg and Nuremberg, and is the best-known stop on Germany’s Romantic Road. The nearest airport is Nuremberg (NUE), about 90 km east.
