Summer brings warm days across the south: Toronto and Montreal reach 26°C in July, Calgary and Edmonton sit around 23°C with cool nights. The best weather window for most of Canada is June through September, though the Rockies and Pacific coast are pleasant from May through early October. Fall colours peak from late September in the Rockies to mid-October in Ontario and Quebec. Winter travel is best for ski destinations like Whistler and Banff (December to March) and northern lights viewing in Yellowknife and Whitehorse (November to March).
