Bonito Weather by Month: October to March (Wet Season)
From October to March expect 140 to 235 mm of rain each month, mostly as short afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Daytime highs sit around 30°C (86°F) and humidity reaches 78 to 80 percent. Waterfalls run at full volume and the rivers are high, but a heavy storm can cloud river visibility for 24 to 48 hours. Bonito Weather by Month: April to September (Dry Season)
The dry season is why Bonito is famous. Rainfall drops to 54 to 114 mm a month from April to September, and underwater visibility in the rivers can exceed 30 meters. June through August are the driest and coolest months, with highs of 25°C to 28°C (77°F to 83°F) and nights near 15°C (59°F).
