Broome’s accommodation splits into three areas: the Cable Beach resort strip, the Town Beach and Roebuck Bay side near the town centre, and the Port Drive and Broome North area near the airport. Dry-season rooms from June to August book out months ahead and can cost double the wet-season rate, so lock in early if you’re travelling between May and October. Every hotel below is listed on Booking.com and the links open the live availability page. For the wider picture, see our Broome neighborhoods guide. Check the Broome events and festivals calendar before you book.

Where to Stay in Broome: Cable Beach

Cable Beach puts you within walking distance of the town’s signature beach, the sunset camel rides, and the beachfront restaurants. It’s the resort end of town, six kilometres west of Chinatown, and the most expensive place to sleep. You’ll want a car or taxi for everything else. See the Broome weather by month guide for the full climate table. See the Broome travel tips page for practicalities.
