Venezuela

Venezuela has a tropical climate with temperatures determined by altitude, with two seasons: dry and rainy. Caracas at 900m enjoys spring-like weather year-round: 18-25°C, with a dry season from December to April. Maracaibo is one of the hottest cities in South America, averaging 28-34°C year-round with high humidity. The Andes region (Merida) is cooler at 15-22°C, with the cable car to Pico Bolivar reaching freezing temperatures. The rainy season runs from May to November across most of the country, with the heaviest rain in July and August. Angel Falls is most impressive during the rainy season (June to December) when water flow peaks, though dry season visits offer more reliable flight access.
