- Spring (March to May): Temperatures climb from 13 degrees C to 22 degrees C (55 to 72 degrees F). Bora winds taper off, outdoor cafes reopen, and May brings the best balance of warmth and manageable crowds.
- Summer (June to August): Peak season with 26 to 28 degrees C (79 to 82 degrees F) and 9 to 10 hours of daily sun. The sea warms to 25 degrees C (77 degrees F). Cruise ships dock at Stazione Marittima, so the waterfront gets busy. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in June and August.
