The high-pressure system from China extended to the North, the Northeast and the South China Sea while the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower part of the Northeast, the East and the lower Central. Variable weather with thundershower, gusty wind and isolated heavy rains are forecast in the North and the Central while isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the South. ภาคเหนือ และภาคกลาง ยังคงมีสภาพอากาศแปรปรวน โดยมีลักษณะของฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนภาคใต้มีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางพื้นที่ ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และทะเลจีนใต้แล้ว ในขณะที่ลมตะวันออกและลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากทะเลจีนใต้และอ่าวไทย เข้ามาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออก และภาคกลางตอนล่าง ประกอบกับร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคใต้ตอนกลาง สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
