Tanzania

Tanzania has a tropical climate with temperatures determined by altitude, and two rainy seasons across most of the country. Dar es Salaam averages 24-32Β°C year-round, with the long rains from March to May and short rains in November and December. Arusha at 1,400m is cooler: 14-28Β°C, serving as the gateway to the northern safari circuit. Zanzibar is tropical year-round at 25-33Β°C, best visited from June to October and December to February. Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are best for wildlife viewing from June to October (dry season). Mount Kilimanjaro is best climbed from January to March and June to October when skies are clearest and trails are driest.
