Durban on the Indian Ocean coast is subtropical: hot humid summers (24-28Β°C) and mild winters (17-23Β°C). Kruger National Park is best for wildlife viewing from May to September (dry season) when animals concentrate at water sources and vegetation thins. The Garden Route is pleasant year-round, with the best weather from October to April.
