Lagos averages 25-32°C year-round, with the rainy season from April to October and a brief dry spell in August (the August break). Abuja has a more moderate climate with the rainy season from April to October and a dry Harmattan season from November to March, with dusty winds from the Sahara. The dry season (November to March) is the best time to visit, with December and January offering the most comfortable temperatures. Kano in the north is hotter and drier, with a shorter rainy season from June to September and temperatures reaching 38°C in March and April.
