Mombasa and the coast are hot and humid year-round at 24-32Β°C, with the same two rainy seasons. The Maasai Mara and other safari destinations are best visited during the dry seasons: January to March and July to October. The Great Migration reaches the Mara River crossing in the Maasai Mara from July to October, with peak crossings in August and September. Mount Kenya at 5,199m has permanent glaciers and can be climbed year-round, though January to February and August to September offer the clearest conditions.
