The wet season (November to April) brings higher humidity, afternoon downpours, and the risk of tropical cyclones, with the highest risk from January to March. Water temperatures stay between 26°C and 29°C year-round, making Fiji a year-round diving and snorkelling destination. The best time to visit is May to October, with July and August being the busiest months. The Yasawa and Mamanuca island groups are slightly drier than the main island of Viti Levu.
