La Paz Weather by Month: December to February

Winter is the coolest and driest period and the busiest season for visitors. January averages a high of 24.5C (76F) and a low of 12.2C (54F), with 15mm (0.6in) of rain over 2 days. February is slightly warmer at 25.9C (79F) by day and 12.4C (54F) at night, with just 5mm (0.2in) of rain. December sits at 25C (77F) by day and 13.6C (56F) at night. Summer is the hottest, most humid period and the start of hurricane season. June averages 35.8C (96F) by day, and July is the warmest month of the year at 36.7C (98F), with August nearly identical at 36.4C (98F). Night lows sit between 20.1C (68F) in June and 25.2C (77F) in August, so evenings stay hot. Rain is still limited: 0mm in June, 15mm (0.6in) in July and 35mm (1.4in) in August, but afternoon showers become possible and the humidity makes 33C feel like 40C.
