Ascoli Piceno Weather by Month

Italy Marche Ascoli Piceno

Ascoli Piceno sits at 154m elevation in the Marche region of central Italy, where the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains create a Mediterranean climate with continental touches. Summers are hot and mostly dry, winters are cool with occasional snowfall, and spring and autumn bring the most comfortable sightseeing conditions. Average annual rainfall totals around 720mm (28 inches), concentrated in October and November. The city’s travertine architecture is at its best under clear skies, and with roughly 6 to 10 hours of daily sunshine across the year, there’s rarely a month when you cannot enjoy Piazza del Popolo outdoors.
