Benidorm Weather by Month: January and February

January and February are Benidorm’s coolest months, with daytime highs of 16°C to 17°C (61°F to 63°F) and overnight lows around 7°C to 8°C (45°F to 46°F). Rainfall is low, averaging 20mm to 25mm per month across 3 to 4 rainy days. You will get roughly 6 hours of daily sunshine. The sea temperature drops to 14°C (57°F), too cold for most swimmers. Pack a light jacket for evenings and you will be comfortable sitting at outdoor cafes during sunny afternoons. Hotel prices are at their lowest of the year and the city is quiet with many businesses running reduced winter hours. For more detail, see our best time to visit Benidorm. February sees the Benidorm Fest music competition draw Spanish and international visitors, adding some mid-winter energy.
