Summer in Toledo is seriously hot. July averages 34°C (93°F) and temperatures above 38°C (100°F) are common in July and August. The saving grace is low humidity (30-40%) and almost zero rain , just 6-7mm per month. The sun blazes for 340-360 hours monthly, which means you’ll want to sightsee early (before 1 PM) or late (after 6 PM). Many smaller shops and businesses close between 2 PM and 5 PM for siesta. September feels like an extension of summer at first , 28°C (82°F) highs , but by October things cool to a pleasant 21°C (70°F). This is the second-best season to visit, with 200-250 sun hours and comfortable walking temperatures. Rain picks up in October (39mm) and November (35mm), but it’s rarely continuous.
