The Cook Islands have a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round and two seasons. Rarotonga averages 21-29Β°C, with the dry season from May to October bringing lower humidity and trade winds. The wet season (November to April) brings higher humidity and the risk of tropical cyclones from December to March. The best time to visit is June to September, with July and August being the busiest months. Aitutaki’s lagoon is swimmable year-round with water temperatures of 24-28Β°C.
