Suriname

Suriname has a tropical rainforest climate with high humidity and consistent warmth year-round. Paramaribo averages 24-32Β°C every month, with two rainy seasons: December to February and April to August. The dry seasons (February to April and August to November) are the best times for travel, especially to the interior rainforest. The Central Suriname Nature Reserve and Brownsberg are most accessible during the drier months. Coastal areas experience cooling trade winds, while the interior is more humid and still. Sea turtle nesting on the Galibi and Matapica beaches peaks from February to July.
