Cambodia

Cambodia has a tropical monsoon climate with two distinct seasons: wet and dry. Siem Reap and Phnom Penh average 26-35Β°C year-round, with the hottest months from March to May reaching 38Β°C. The rainy season (May to October) brings afternoon downpours that typically last 1-2 hours, with September and October being the wettest months. The dry season (November to April) is the best time to visit, with November to February offering the most comfortable temperatures and low humidity. Angkor Wat is most photogenic in the early dry season (November-December) when moats are full and vegetation is still green. The coastal area around Sihanoukville and Koh Rong follows the same pattern, with calm seas from November to April.
