United Arab Emirates

The UAE has a subtropical arid climate with two main seasons: extremely hot summers and mild winters. Dubai averages 20Β°C in January and 36Β°C in July, with peak summer temperatures from June to September regularly reaching 42-45Β°C with high humidity. The best time to visit is November to March when daytime temperatures sit at 24-28Β°C and evenings are cool enough for outdoor dining. Rain is rare (less than 100mm annually) and falls almost entirely between December and March in brief, heavy showers. Sandstorms can occur in spring (March to May) and occasionally reduce visibility. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are heavily air-conditioned year-round, making summer visits feasible but limiting outdoor activity to early morning and evening.
