Indonesia has a tropical climate with two seasons: wet (October to April) and dry (May to September), reversed in some eastern regions. Bali averages 26-31Β°C year-round, with the dry season (April to October) bringing lower humidity and clear skies, and the wet season (November to March) producing afternoon downpours. Jakarta is hot and humid year-round at 25-33Β°C with rain from November to April. Lombok and the Gili Islands follow Bali’s pattern with slightly less rain. Sumatra and Kalimantan (Borneo) are wetter year-round with no strong dry season. Komodo and Flores are driest from April to November, making this the best window for Komodo dragon treks. The best months for most of Indonesia are May, June, and September when skies are clear and humidity is lower.
